Donald Trump has signed over 50 executive orders, the most in a president's first 100 days in modern history. These orders cover a wide range of topics, including immigration, climate policies, and tariffs.

To get a better understanding of the impact of these executive orders on the Hudson Valley, News 12 spoke with Democratic Congressman George Latimer, who is one month into his first term.

Congressman Latimer shared his thoughts on the implications of these executive orders for the 16th Congressional District. "When he makes a decision to cut NIH funding, he may be cutting funding to Burke Rehab in White Plains, which could mean services will be provided at a higher cost... When they have an EO to cut the size and scope of a government agency like Social Security and close it off in White Plains, now it makes it inconvenient for senior citizens."

There are also a number of legal challenges that have been brought against many of the president's executive actions.
