The grave impacts of coronavirus have turned personal for a Westchester congressman.
Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-16) says he lost his mother to COVID-19.
The freshman congressman made the somber announcement on his Twitter page, saying she passed away on Valentine's Day.
"Our mother raised us to live our lives with love and joy with and for each other. I share her legacy with all of you," he tweeted.
