Just over 40 years ago, Boudine and other self-proclaimed revolutionaries, stole $1.6 million from a Brink’s car outside of Nanuet National Bank.
Two Nyack police officers, Waverly Brown and Edward O'Grady, and Brinks truck guard Peter Paige were killed.
The New York Times reports that after being freed from prison two decades later, Boudin helped inmates struggling to get their lives on track.
Boudin had a child with David Gilbert, who served 38 years in prison in the Brinks case before being granted clemency by Gov. Andrew Cuomo and released in 2021. Their son, Chesa, is now a San Francisco D.A.
