Bill payment company doxo released a new report listing off the most expensive states for household bills with New York in the top 10.

The list finds New York as the seventh most expensive state in the U.S. for household bills.

The data chart details New Yorkers are spending at least $2,361 per month on household bills. That number is nearly 18% higher than the national average.

Ahead of the Empire State is California, Hawaii, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland and Connecticut.
