The Republican nominee for Westchester County District Attorney has pulled out of the race.
Bruce Bendish tells News 12 the decision was brought on by difficulty of face-to-face campaigning and in-person fundraising due to the pandemic.
Democratic nominee Mimi Rocah released a statement to News 12 saying in part that “she looks forward to serving all of Westchester starting in January 2021..and is supporting county-wide efforts to ensure every vote is counted."
Bendish's name will still be on this ballot this November.
