Bone-chilling, cold air blasted northern Westchester Friday with temperatures dropping into the 20s across the area.
Many residents bundled up, opting to layer their clothes to stay warm. Those who work outdoors say they are prepared to face the unseasonably cold weather with the help of heaters.
News 12 Meteorologist Brysen Van Eck says temperatures will continue to run 10-15 degrees below normal. With the wind, it will feel like the single digits and teens. Temperatures are expected to warm up and reach the 30-degree mark Saturday.
