A solar eclipse is coming in a week!
NASA says the moon will obstruct the sun just after 12 p.m. on Oct. 14 - and the eclipse will be partially visible in the tri-state area.
It's called a Ring of Fire eclipse and we won't see another one until 2046. In the video below, Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Mike Rizzo shows you what the eclipse will look like in our area, and what precautions you should take:
NASA is warning people not to look directly at the eclipse unless you have special glasses.
The space agency will live stream it on its website.
