A driver crashed into a road sign in Sloatsburg on the Thruway on Sunday and is recovering.

Spring Hill EMS says a “No Parking” sign came through the car’s windshield and into the passenger seat. No one was sitting there at the time.

Officials say the driver suffered a medical emergency and lost control.

He was able to get out and was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
