A new art space in Croton Falls is bringing artists of all ages and skill levels together just steps from the Croton Falls train station.
Railyard Arts Studio was created by art educator and founder Jill Leary to provide a collaborative, community-focused environment.
Inside the studio are fully equipped clay studios, multi-use art classrooms and an on-site art gallery.
Students work alongside one another, sharing techniques and offering support throughout classes, Leary said.
The studio features pottery wheels, a dedicated throwing and sculpting room and two kilns. Introductory workshops allow beginners to try pottery and take home a finished piece.
Art classrooms host painting, drawing, stained glass and mixed media classes in a bright, sunlit space designed to encourage creativity.
Beyond the classrooms, a lounge area doubles as a boutique displaying pottery and other artwork made by members.
The space allows artists not only to learn new skills, but also to sell their work within the community.
Railyard Arts Studio offers classes year-round and welcomes artists of all ages and experience levels.
