Police say the man who robbed a Monroe bank Monday is on the loose in Orange County.
According to police, a man walked into the TD Banknorth in the middle of the afternoon. The suspect told bank employees he had a gun and threatened to kill everyone in the bank. He then demanded they hand over cash. He fled the bank on foot with an undetermined amount of money.
Police say the man is considered armed and dangerous.
Monday?s robbery was the third in the county in three weeks. Monroe police are reviewing the bank?s surveillance video for possible leads. They are asking those with information to help by calling 845-782-8644.
