Rockland County has achieved recognition as a Clean Energy Community, signifying the county's committed environmental endeavors to reduce carbon emissions and conserve energy.

In recognition, they will be granted a $5,000 designation grant to acquire electric landscaping equipment.

This equipment is expected to significantly curtail greenhouse gas emissions and fuel expenses, in addition to providing residents with health and environmental benefits.
