Rockland County officials have issued a traffic alert as the county's road resurfacing program for the year kicks off.
The resurfacing work, managed by the Rockland County Highway Department, will commence in the town of Stony Point. Specifically, roadwork will be conducted on Route 210 from Cedar Flats Road to West Main Street.
Milling operations are scheduled to take place until Thursday, with paving set to begin on Saturday.
Although the road will not be closed during the resurfacing process, motorists are advised to exercise caution and be mindful of construction crews when driving through the area.
Similar roadwork is slated to occur in Orangetown, Clarkstown, and Ramapo in the coming weeks.
