Rockland DA: 23-year-old man indicted in New City driveway stabbing
Officials say Elijah Dean, 23 was arraigned last Friday on charges of attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

The Rockland County District Attorney’s Office announced an Orange County man has been indicted for stabbing a man in his driveway last month.
They say Elijah Dean, 23 was arraigned last Friday on charges of attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
The 32-year-old victim had just pulled into the driveway of his home in New City when he was approached by Dean and stabbed, according to police. The victim suffered serious injuries.
Dean was arrested the next day. Authorities called it a random attack.
Dean is being held at the Rockland County Jail.
