A Rockland County man pleaded guilty in the fatal stabbing of an Orange County man.
Joseph Janulewicz, of West Nyack, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter, according to the Rockland County District Attorney's Office.
The 65-year-old admitted to fatally stabbing 53-year-old Brian Romney, of Greenwood Lake, in June of 2022.
He then wrapped his corpse in a blue tarp and concealed it in a room until it was discovered by state police.
Romney had been reported missing a week before.
His vehicle was located in West Nyack, and his body was discovered the next day.
Janulewicz is expected to be sentenced in January to 15 years in prison.
