Police say a young sanitation worker was hit and killed by a vehicle being driven by an on-duty Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in Blooming Grove this morning.
According to authorities, 24-year-old Jon Walsh was picking up recyclables on Clove Road at around 5:30 a.m. when he was struck.
Co-workers at Interstate Waste Services in Chester say they are leaning on each other as they deal with the loss of a hard-working member of their family.
Officials say the incident is still under investigation, but that it appears to be an accident. They say they don't expect charges to be filed.
