Yonkers Public Schools has confirmed that former interim Principal Kim Urban has been placed on administrative leave following allegations that she posted inappropriate content on social media.

12h agoYonkers Public Schools has confirmed that former interim Principal Kim Urban has been placed on administrative leave following allegations that she posted inappropriate content on social media.
News 12 spoke with parents who said they did not know what led to Urban's removal.
She had been with the school since September.
The district appointed Rita Morehead as interim principal of the elementary school for now, and has begun a comprehensive search to find a replacement.
A statement from the district said it is committed to ensuring the continued success and well-being of their students, staff and school community.
News 12 contacted Ms. Urban, but has not heard back.
