Nine years after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, many first responders who suffered health consequences related to their efforts at Ground Zero are losing hope that they?ll ever receive health care.

A bill, which would provide health coverage to those who tried to save lives at Ground Zero, has stalled again in Congress.

An estimated 25,000 people are suffering health effects related to Sept. 11.

Assemblyman Mike Spano (D-Yonkers) has been fighting for aid from Albany, but he says that the responders' needs are growing and it is time for Congress to put aside their party differences and help.

President Barack Obama says he will sign the bill if it reaches his desk.
