Hundreds were left without power and a teenager was hospitalized after nearly getting struck by lightning following the recent severe weather in Orange County.
Neighbors say a 19-year-old girl had a seizure after a lightning bolt struck outside her house on Heard Road in Blooming Grove.
On Monday, lightning also caused a fire at the Brookshire Apartment Complex in Washingtonville.
