A wanted man in Monticello is now in custody after being arrested by police.
Jaimuj Tomlinson, 21, was seen walking on Broadway by an officer, who knew he was wanted on multiple charges.
Tomlinson has been wanted by police in connection with a shots fired incident in September, where he allegedly fired eight rounds, striking a home and a parked car. No one was hurt.
When officers approached him, Tomlinson attempted to run, but was later caught. A handgun and crack cocaine were recovered during his arrest.
