News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Krystal Ellis says periods of rain bring a chance of flooding in low lying areas or places with poor drainage. Showers will taper off overnight and clear by Sunday morning.
WHAT'S NEXT: Sunday is the better day of the weekend with temps in the 70s and skies brightening through the morning into mostly sunny skies by the early afternoon. Thereafter, a long dry stretch of pleasant weather will be with us through the middle of the week. Chance for showers again overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning.
OVERNIGHT: Cloudy with fog and a few rounds of rain. Any showers lingering will clear out by morning. South winds shifting to westerly after midnight around 5-10 mph. Lows near 55.
SUNDAY: Any morning clouds will give way to sunshine. Northwest wind 5-10 mph. Highs near 77.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear with lows near 54. Northwest winds 5-10 mph.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny and nice. Highs near 74. Lows near 49.
TUESDAY: Sunny with highs near 69. Lows near 47.
WEDNESDAY: Sunny and mild with highs near 78. Lows near 52.
