A 500-acre site steeped in religious history is changing hands in Ulster County.
The West Park property on Route 9W was formerly the home of the Missionary Sisters of Sacred Heart and was also the site of Mother Frances Cabrini's miracle.
Cabrini, who was canonized by the Catholic church as the first U.S. citizen-saint seven decades ago is said to have cured a sick boy of blindness.
This month the Missionary Sisters sold the historic site to the bishops of the Coptic Church of New York for $9 million.
Paul Adler from Rand Realty called the sale a “match made in heaven.”
