News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Matt Hammer says steady rain is moving out, but lingering scattered flooding remains.
NEXT: Drier weather persists Monday with a shower chance into the afternoon and evening. A mixed bag lingers to kick off the first week of May.
FORECAST
OVERNIGHT: Rain tapers off with some fog for the morning commute. Lows in the upper-40s.
MONDAY: Some sunshine early, then cloudy later in the day. Stray showers are possible in the afternoon and evening. Highs near 60.
MONDAY NIGHT: A few showers possible. Lows in the mid-40s. 
TUESDAY: Cloudy to start with a few passing showers throughout the day. Cool. Highs in the mid-50sOvernight lows in the low 40s. 
WED through FRI: Cooler than average with high temperatures in the 50s. More clouds than sun is expected with a daily rain shower possible, mainly in the afternoon or early evening. 
NEXT WEEKEND: A lower chance for rain with warmer temperatures. Highs in the 60s to around 70 and lows getting into the 50s.
