The speed limit on the Tappan Zee Bridge was reduced and a handful of schools opened with delays this morning, but other than that, the impact from last night and this morning's snow has been minimal in the Hudson Valley.
Snowfall totals are ranging from 1 to 3 inches or more after snow began falling yesterday morning. Snow continued into the early afternoon, but was quickly replaced by sun.
Any snow that has accumulated on blacktop surfaces is expected to melt with this afternoon's sunshine. Residents are encouraged to remove all snow and slush from walkways, as any remaining accumulation is sure to freeze overnight.
