A single-engine small plane experienced a mishap while attempting to land at Hudson Valley Regional Airport in the Town of Wappinger.
According to the FAA, the incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
The plane had a hard landing as a result of damaged landing gear after clipping a perimeter fence at the airport.
Fortunately, there were only two people on board the aircraft at the time.
The FAA is currently investigating the incident.
