OVERVIEW:
Muggy and cloudy start to your Thursday morning, but weather conditions will quickly change. By the afternoon, temperatures should be in the low 80s, and it will be mostly sunny. The Canadian wildfire smoke that has been bringing us hazy skies and poor air quality over the past few days should begin to move away from our region.
Our air quality is forecast to improve this afternoon. Although still at the moderate level, the Hudson Valley air quality index has dropped below 100! This will allow for us to see more blue-ish hues in the sky as compared to a milky white.
There is a very small chance for a light sprinkle this afternoon, but overall most of the region should stay cloud and rain-free.
Friday will be a mostly sunny, dry day with low humidity and temperatures in the low 80s.
We will rinse and repeat the forecast for Saturday.
Sunday will be warmer in the upper 80s with more noticeable humidity.
