Our store. Much coverage continues this morning news. Twelve's, Emily Young is in Hastings right now. Checking out the conditions there, Emily Lisa, we've been giving you a live look all morning of what the throughways and the parkways look like. And I wanted to give you a little glimpse of what the residential roads look like because as badly plowed as those places are, oh, this is significantly worse. I'm gonna pop out of the shot so you can just see what it looks like. We are here on h the inter on Hudson road right off of Broadway and Hastings. And as you can see, it is not plowed at all. We have one gentleman working really hard. He had some sort of nifty contraption, but it wasn't doing such a great job as you can tell. Um, getting through the, this road, this is about two inches, three inches of snow and it is dangerous. It is just simply dangerous as we've been driving here. We've been seeing cars veering off the road, um, especially on the throughway. So it's gonna take a little while until these sorts of areas are plowed. The plow trucks are just battling a lot of things on the road right now, but we're gonna be moving upwards through Westchester County to get, give you a glimpse of what it's looking like throughout all of the regions. So stick with us. I'm going to send it back to the studio.

Lisa. I'm so sorry. I can't hear you. The entire town fire department is passing by surely to help a car that has drifted off the road as we've been making our way from Hastings. That's where we were. The last time we checked in on you to Tarry Town. We've seen really a lot of cars drifting to the left to the right now when we were Hastings, we were giving you a look at what the local residential roads were looking like. Now, here's a shot of what Broadway in Tarrytown is looking like. This is really the first time like you mentioned, Lisa, we're seeing the roads. Um It's, it's definitely significantly more plow in this region, but still people are heeding our warnings. They're staying home. A lot of the businesses in the area, they are closed like the barber shops, the pretzel sauce, some of the restaurants in the 7-Eleven they are open. We've also been seeing people walking around. Um So this situation is improving slightly, but we are actually going to be continuing our way up north and we hope to have another look for you of what that's looking like up north. Coming up soon, I'm going to send it back to the studio.

Ben, we're doing a lot better here because I'm happy to report that there are not 11 inches of snow on the ground here. So we are in Croton, we are on uh Old Post Road South and Grand and this is normally a bustling area full of shops and coffee shops and people walking around and it is pretty empty over here. Just a couple of stragglers and some cars. I have to tell you what you're looking at right now. Now, not six minutes ago, this looked like a winter wonderland. It was so picturesque, really something out of a Hallmark movie, but just in these past five minutes, we've seen conditions improve. The the snow on the ground has continued to melt. Um In fact, as we've been moving around, the county, conditions are just getting so much better. Now, as you can tell, there's really no snow on the ground. The only snow we're battling are the pockets of snow that are on the wires on the trees. Now, those are frequently falling down. So if you're walking around, you definitely want to stay clear or just be aware that that is happening. So, like I keep saying we're gonna keep moving through Westchester County. So you have the latest on all the conditions on the parkways on the local roads. So stay tuned with us in news 12 and I'm gonna send it back to the studio.
