Police identified the suspect as 54-year-old Frederick Thompson. He allegedly stabbed another man multiple times in the arm during a fight.
Authorities said the two men had an ongoing dispute involving social media. The other man reportedly threw the first punch.
He was treated at a hospital and later charged with assault.
Thompson is being held without bail due to prior felony convictions, police said.
