Three Westchester school districts are offering counseling to students for an indefinite period of time.
Mamaroneck, Pleasantville and White Plains school officials say having a conversation about what happened may be difficult.
White Plains Superintendent Dr. Joseph Ricca says, "Talk less, listen more. Listen to what our children are telling us, what their fears are, and what their concerns are, or provide them with concrete evidence on why they're safe, show them what we're doing and what you can do to keep them safe."
