Spring Valley Fire Dept. treasurer arrested, charged with grand larceny

Christopher Nau was the treasurer for the Columbian Engine Company and served as the assistant treasurer for the Spring Valley Fire Department.

The treasurer of the Spring Valley Fire Department has been charged for stealing funds from the department, Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh announced Friday.
Christopher Nau was the treasurer for the Columbian Engine Company and served as the assistant treasurer for the Spring Valley Fire Department.
The DA's office says Nau stole $37,932 in total from the Spring Valley Fire Department.
He has been indicted on felony charges including four counts of Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree.
