A Stamford man faces charges for sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl both Connecticut and Westchester County, New York, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York says.

Federal prosecutors unsealed a complaint Monday, charging 42-year-old Andrew Ford with sexual exploitation of a minor and transportation of a minor for unlawful sexual activity.

Ford was arrested Monday and appeared before a judge in federal court in White Plains.

The complaint alleges that in December 2024, the victim told police that Ford sexually abused her multiple times, both in Westchester County and in Connecticut. On May 12, 2025, Ford was arrested and charged in Rye with two counts of rape. He was arraigned days later and released on bail.

Prosecutors say following his arrest, police found sexually explicit images of the victim on Ford's phone. The images were taken in Connecticut after Ford took her from Westchester to Greenwich, Connecticut.

Officials say there may be other victims. Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the FBI at 1-800-225-5324 or submit a tip online.
