Staples High School in Westport received two separate threats – one of which led to an arrest, police say.
They say one juvenile was charged following threatening posts made on social media after a swift investigation led to their identity.
In a separate incident, Principal Stafford Thomas confirmed that the school also received a report of threatening language found written on a bathroom wall. While this threat was not deemed credible, the school sent a message assuring heightened security with additional police officers assigned to the school as a precaution on Wednesday.
