Stew Leonard's is set to open in Clifton, marking the supermarket’s second location in New Jersey.

The new store will be located at 467 Allwood Road on Route 3, in the same shopping center as the Michaels craft store.

Stew Leonard's, known for its dancing avocados and bananas, buys dairy and produce from hundreds of local farms in the tri-state area. The first location opened in Paramus in 2019.

The company celebrated its Clifton launch Tuesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The ceremony included the dedication of a 300-pound bronze statue in honor of former milkman Stew Leonard Sr., who passed away last year.

The new store will open to the public on Friday.
