Stores are preparing for what they expect to be one of the biggest shopping days of the year on Black Friday in Hudson Valley.
Both in-store and online deals will be available for shoppers on Friday and some even on Thanksgiving Day.
The Walmart in Middletown will be open 24 hours for holiday shoppers, and Target will be open from 6 p.m. until midnight before reopening early Friday morning.
Target management says closing the stores will give their employees time to recharge and prepare for shoppers.
More than 164 million Americans plan to shop this Thanksgiving weekend, according to the National Retail Federation.
