STORM WATCH: Light winds and growing clouds throughout the day in The Bronx

It's chilly, less breezy and mostly clear this morning. Temperatures are in the upper-40s to low-50s.
Sun will give way to increasing clouds and slightly cooler temperatures this afternoon. Highs will be in the upper-60s.
A batch of steady rain arrives Wednesday morning through the evening. Winds will be gusting between 25-30 mph throughout the day. It will feel much cooler with highs dipping into the mid-50s.
The heaviest rain will be Wednesday night into early Thursday morning. The timing is after 11 p.m. Wednesday through 7 a.m. Thursday morning.
The chilly, rainy and breezy weather persists into Thursday. Showers linger into Friday with below-normal temperatures in the low-60s. 1-2 inches of rainfall is possible over the next few days, with isolated higher totals with any downpours.
The storm system slowly exits by Friday evening. As of now, Memorial Day weekend will be mainly dry, pleasant with temperatures in the mid-60s to low-70s.
