WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

A clipper system is moving just south of the Hudson Valley but is clipping us with rain, and the potential of snow showers, this morning.

Temps will be in the low to mid 30s, so that snow potential is possible. But accumulations are very low to none on the surface.

Some elevated parts of the region, mainly north of I-84, could see a coating on car roofs and rooftops.

The system pulls away after the morning commute with drier and cold conditions to follow.

After a pleasant break on Thursday, another system approaches Friday.

The chance for rain is late in the day, with cloud cover hanging around all day Friday.

Rain showers taper off Saturday with drier and cooler conditions to follow for the rest of the weekend.

A large system could impact the region Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, which could impact travel.
