A few light rain showers have already crossed the borough this evening and expect more on-and-off showers overnight. Even if there is no rain on radar, there will be some mist, drizzle and fog, especially at the coast. The showers will likely become more numerous for the Friday morning commute, so expect wet and slick roads.
There will be a break in the rain from around noon to 5 p.m. Friday, as the storm's energy begins to consolidate into a stronger storm offshore. Rain returns by the Friday evening commute, with moderate rain likely after 8 p.m. Friday. There will also be some heavy bands of rain pivoting across the borough at night, between midnight and 6 a.m. Saturday.
Rain tapers back to on-and-off showers most of Saturday, but the wind will be much higher. Over an inch of rain total is likely from Thursday night through Saturday night and expect more updates getting closer to the storm. Travel conditions and outdoor activities will be impacted for the first half of the weekend. Improvements with warmer weather and some peeks of sun are likely on Sunday. Much more sun and warmer conditions will move in on Monday with a chance of temperatures at upper-60s likely on Monday and Tuesday.
The next rain-maker might bring a shower or isolated storm Tuesday, otherwise a mostly dry week is expected next week.
