Dangerous cold stretch continues in The Bronx before potential snow this weekend

It will feel like single digits once again into Wednesday morning, with winds gusting up to 40 mph. Once the dangerous cold departs, a chance for accumulating snow returns this weekend.

OVERNIGHT: Feels-like temperatures did not break out of the teens on Tuesday, with more frigid weather expected for another few days and nights. Lows will dip back into the upper teens overnight, feeling like single digits.
WEDNESDAY: Around 7 a.m., it will feel like between 5 and 10 degrees. Gusts between 30 and 40 mph will continue. Watch out for any lingering icy spots from melted snow and puddles.
BRUTAL COLD: Wednesday afternoon will be the coldest of the week with highs stuck in the upper 20s, again feeling like the teens as gusts continue near 40 mph. Another frigid night on tap for Wednesday night, which will also be the coldest of the week. Thursday morning wakeup feels-like temperatures will be closer to 5 degrees.
POTENTIAL SNOW: The wind won't quit until Friday night, but temperatures will rebound Friday afternoon to the upper 30s. Then all eyes turn to Saturday's potential snowstorm. Too soon for specific details, but it is likely there will NOT be a blockbuster storm. That scenario is off the table. The two current scenarios on the table could bring a few inches of snow depending on the exact track of the storm. If the storm tracks farther away from the city, then there may not even be a snowflake. We will know much more in the next day or two.
