Orange County mom vows to put son’s alleged killer behind bars

An Orange County mother is vowing to put her son's alleged killer behind bars.
Fabian Corley is accused of shooting 31-year-old Hubert Hines in the back during a botched robbery last month in Newburgh. Authorities say the suspect's own surveillance camera captured the crime.
Corley has pleaded not guilty to murder and tampering with evidence.
"No matter the circumstance, it doesn't give anybody the right to take someone's life," says Hines’ mother, Novella Farquharson.
Farquharson added that her son was never in trouble in his life.
Prosecutors say the illegal handgun used in the crime was recovered along with drugs and packaging material.
Corley is claiming self-defense. He is being held on $1.5 million cash bail. If convicted, he could face 25 years to life behind bars.
