Heavy rains pounded the Bronx Thursday, making things difficult for commuting and working.
For a local truck driver, things were especially trying.
"It's just really bad, it's just coming down really hard," he says. "A lot of puddles everywhere and lots of cars stopping really fast."
Traffic on the Cross Bronx Expressway was backed up for miles, and most drivers kept to about 40 mph on the drenched Bronx River Parkway. Having car trouble on a day with inclement weather made getting Neil Hyman's vehicle fixed a chore.
"It just took awhile for someone to come get me because of the rain and just a lot of traffic as a result," he says.
