Students in Pine Bush are mourning the loss of two high school seniors Monday. The 18-year-olds were killed in a car accident while driving home from a double date early Saturday morning. Joseph Montero and Steven Martinez died after police say Montero tried to pass several cars on Route 302 in Crawford and crashed into one car and a tree. Two other passengers were in the car and are in stable condition. A sign in front of Pine Bush High School reads, "Remember Our Seniors." Sadly, the class of 2006 will have four fewer graduates because of three fatal accidents over the past 10 months.
