Some people in the Hudson
Valley may never be required to commute to the city for work again.
A new survey shows only 22%
of New York City’s major employers plan to require office workers to return
in-person full time after the pandemic is over.
The survey was taken by the
Partnership for New York City business group.
The goal was to estimate if Manhattan's
1 million office personnel would keep working remotely or head back to the
office.
About half are expected to
return in-person by September, and 9% aren’t
expected to return at all.
