Tenants living in a Williamsbridge complex are concerned that they may end up in the dark and cold as temps begin to dip this week.

Tenants say it is not the first time that Con Ed has sent them notices stating that their power will be turned off. The notice states that the building's management company owes Con Ed thousands of dollars. 

Anthony Apostolos, who has lived in the building for eight years, says if Con Ed does cut the supply it would affect elevators and shared spaces not actual apartments. He says one big problem would be that tenants would not have hot water.

As of now, power is still on, but residents are worried. Con Ed says the overdue balance needs to be paid by Jan. 21. The landlord declined to comment on the matter.
