The 2021 Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest kicked off in Coney Island on Sunday.
Joey Chestnut gained his personal best of 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes, making him the official world hot dog eating champion. He took home his 14th mustard belt.
Chestnut’s archrival Jeffrey Esba came in second with 50 hot dogs.
Michelle Lesco took home the win in the women’s competition with 30 3/4 hot dogs in 10 minutes.
