Looking for a new job? News 12 is taking a look at the hot sectors hiring in the state.
News 12’s Kristie Reeter has The Real Deal on some changes happening in the work force.
A new bankruptcy survey shows something surprising – workers who are worried about job security are the ones making moves.
“Normally when you are worried about your job security when a recession is thought to be on the horizon, you likely want to stay put and avoid rocking the boat," says Sarah Foster, Bank Rank analyst.
However, that is not happening.
"We saw that nearly nine in 10 Americans who were worried about their job security they are likely to take at least one career action," says Foster.
Foster tells News 12 that includes negotiating for a raise, asking for more flexibility in the workplace and quitting or searching for a new job.
