A two‑car crash Tuesday morning in Rockland County left at least two people with injuries.
The Thiells Fire Department said they received a call just after 8 a.m. reporting a crash with one person trapped.
Firefighters arrived to find a black van with its front left side dented and a white SUV with its front ripped off and airbags deployed.
It was unclear how the crash happened. The roads still had snow and ice on them.
Firefighters said one driver was able to get out through the passenger‑side door.
The total number of people involved has not been released.
The fire department said there were multiple minor injuries.
