The Thiells Fire Department is inviting the public to a walkthrough of their main station as they advocate for a new firehouse.

The existing facility, built in 1963, no longer meets safety standards to effectively serve the community.

The walkthrough will take place on Tuesday, April 2, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, April 7, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

A bond vote for the new fire station is scheduled for April 30.
