Saturday marks 10 years since a Hudson Valley man disappeared from authorities in a case that landed him on the FBI's Most Wanted list at one point.

Eugene Palmer, who would now in his 80s, is accused of murdering his daughter-in-law Tammy Palmer outside of her Stony Point home.

The elder Palmer was on the infamous "Ten Most Wanted" list since 2018, but was removed in July 2022.

Palmer was the oldest person to have been on the list and is still a wanted fugitive.

He's been missing since Sept. 24, 2012 - the day Tammy Palmer was fatally shot.

"I really don't have a lot to say at this point other than he's missed. She's missed. And it's a tragedy," says Clarence Palmer, Eugene's son and Tammy's brother-in-aw.

He says he's been looking for his father's body in Harriman State Park ever since that day - that's where police found Eugene's truck abandoned after the incident.

"Since the day it happened nobody has seen or heard from him. I know him. He is my father. I know the way he is - or was. He's in this park as his final resting area," says Clarence.

Michael Cruger, of the Haverstraw police, says he believes that his father is still alive.

Cruger has been investigating the case since the very beginning and still receives tips every few months.

"We didn't forget about it. We're never going to forget about it. He needs to be brought to justice for the family," he says.

Haverstraw police suggest people reach out to them with any tips as to Palmer's whereabouts.

Clarence Palmer says he's willing to pay someone with cadaver dogs if they help find his father's body and close this case for good.
