Another round of fake toll payment texts is circulating across New York, according to the New York State Thruway Authority.
The messages claim drivers owe money for unpaid tolls and urge them to click a link or reply to pay.
Officials say E-ZPass and Tolls by Mail will never send unsolicited texts.
Scam messages often come from international numbers or email addresses.
Real toll alerts will come from 39769 and begin with "E-Z-P-N-Y."
