Thruway lanes reopen after fatal crash in Bardonia

All lanes reopened on the New York State Thruway northbound in Bardonia shortly before 8 a.m., following a fatal two-car crash just past the Exit 13 interchange with the Palisades Parkway.

One person died at the scene. A second person was taken to a local hospital with injuries, according to State Police Troop T dispatch.

No other individuals were involved.

The northbound lanes had been closed at Exit 12, with no access from either direction of the Palisades Parkway.
