A section of the New York State Thruway is back open this morning after a serious crash in Westchester.
State police said it happened just before 9 p.m. Monday on the northbound side of I-87 near Exit 7A in Greenburgh. The deceleration ramp and right lane were closed for multiple hours, with traffic moving in the center and left lanes.
The ramp and right lane reopened around 3 a.m. Police have not said how the crash happened, how many people were involved, or if there were any injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
